Oleg was the lead installer and all the windows and doors are great took the time to do the job right even with frigid cold temperatures. The decision to use smart tech was easy from the excellent sales person Olga who walked me through each room and offered the best advice. I have to apologize as I can't remember the gentleman's name who did the final measurements but once again answered all my questions . I would highly recommend this company and it's staff. I used the winnipeg office and would hope that head office in Ontario is proud of this group.

Amazing customer service experience with Alex at SmartTech. He worked with us to coordinate a time for him to come over and install vinyl windows in our kitchen. He was in and out in just over 2 hours. We’re very happy with the new look!

Very good installation and very professional installers. Oleg and crew were fantastic and come highly recommended. Install was done on time despite them running into a couple of small complications. Price was more than fair. All around very good experience.

These two fellows from Smart tech that installed my windows today or I should say installed my patio door and my bedroom window were just Fantastic. Very polite very efficient and very knowledgable about how the windows worked, etc..

I am very disappointed with my experience. The main reason we replaced our windows was because moisture was forming on the old ones — but the new windows, installed just last summer, are already showing the same problem as soon as winter started (see photo).

I reached out to Alex to ask if this was normal, but I received no response. Meanwhile, my neighbour had their windows replaced at the same time by a different company, and theirs are flawless with no moisture at all.

It is extremely frustrating to have spent almost thousand of $$$ on windows that are already showing issues. I truly expected better quality and better customer service.

My relatives have gotten their windows and doors done by this company and they highly recommended them. Alex is great! When we met him, he did not pressure us at all! Very easy to talk to and if we had any questions, he was just a phone call away, very accomodating.

We had another company come by to give us a quote and it was almost double the price but for less windows and a lot less features. Alex gave his recommendations but it was ultimately our decision. Of course we went with his recommendations though! He didn't pressure us into getting new doors, he even checked them out and said they were still good. When we decided, we just reached out to him again and he had someone come and measure out the windows and within 5 weeks, our installation was booked! I'm just glad my Uncle stopped us from goin with the other company and got us to talk to Alex.

When we got our windows installed, the men working on them were amazing! Very polite and hardworking guys. Our house looks 1000x better with our new windows installed. They did such a great job! Clean up was great too, it's like they weren't even here.

If you're looking to get new windows and/or doors, I highly recommend them!

We had 10 windows replaced in our home in River Heights and couldn’t be happier. The SmartTech crew showed up on time, worked efficiently, and cleaned up thoroughly. The new triple-pane windows made a noticeable difference right away, no more cold drafts or condensation. Their pricing was better than three other quotes we received. Highly recommended!

Excellent quality windows that look great! They also had the lowest price out of 8 quotes. Olga was incredibly helpful and responsive when I had any questions or concerns. She even came out with her boss when I thought something was incorrect after the install. It turned out I just wasn’t aware how the window operated. They were just happy I was happy and didn’t seem to mind making the extra trip. Would hire them again.

I had to wait many months for my window install. That being said, it was worth the wait. The price was far lower than any comparable window company and the customer service was excellent. I had a few concerns and questions after my install was complete and they were addressed promptly. The main reason I love SmartTech is that the people working there have a genuinely nice vibe. The Manager of the company is great (he conducted the initial sales visit to my home when I decided to purchase the windows) and I think that his energy sets the company’s tone. You can tell all who work there are good genuine people and I appreciate that when I look where to spend my money. I recommend them to many living in my complex and seven people, and counting, also ended up purchasing windows with SmartTech. I have only had the windows a few months so I can’t attest to the energy savings and longevity yet, but they look really nice, are energy star certified, and I feel confident knowing, if I have future concerns, that they will be handled with care. As a satisfied customer, I highly recommend SmartTech.

I was searching for good window deals in Winnipeg and out of six companies, SmartTech was the best of them all. Quality and worksmanship is top tier. Sales and after sales are awesome plus the installers are professional and prompt. Started working at 8am and completed 8 windows at 2pm. For all quotes, reach out to Iryna. Highly recommended.

SmartTech rep (Alex) gave me a quote on 1 large kitchen window and 2 basement windows and we entered into contract with a deposit. SmartTech rep contacted me some time later and advised the basement windows I had chosen were not available and was told I had to pick a different style. I advised that the basement window I chose was more expensive than what was available. Alex advised he would provide me with $100 as compensation which I never received. The install happened but with issues: The basement windows had much smaller openings than the ones I originally chose, and one was installed unprofessionally (see pictures). The installers also broke the housing for my exterior outlet (see pictures). I contacted SmartTech several times to advise of the issues and was told Alex would be in touch but he did not contact me. From other reviews, this seems to be their "MO".

Update as of Aug 15 2023: this has still not been resolved. Update Sept 10th 2023: I just saw that SmartTech responded to me through the Reviews here asking me to contact them to arrange an appointment to view the work. (Very strange, as they have my name, address, ph # and email.)
Update March 27, 2024 I contacted SmartTech 2 more times to arrange the appointment to view the work, and no one got back to me. Still no resolution.

I'll save you a lot of work and just tell you to go with Smart Tech for your next window/door project. I had about 10 other window/door companies come to my house to provide quotes. Alex from SmartTech not only provided the best price but he was also the most professional and knowledgeable. I had several companies not even send a quote after they visited my home, some who said it would be 3 months to even book in an estimate, and some that were nearly double what Smart Tech was going to charge for the exact same job!! When they came to install the entry + storm door, they worked fast and efficient. The workers were respectful and professional. They cleaned up after themselves (I've had major issues with other window companies NOT cleaning up afterwards). There was a slight issue with an air gap under the door after they left - I contacted Smart Tech and they sent someone back to my house within a day or two to have them make some adjustments. This fixed the issue and the door looked and functioned fabulously.

I HIGHLY recommend SmartTech. They are significantly superior to their competitors.

After getting a few estimates from different companies I had Alex come from SmartTech and give me an estimate. It was by far the best estimate so I went with them. I had them install a patio door where I formerly had only a window. I am very happy with the work they did and the new door that they put in is wonderful. The employees who did the installation knew what they were doing and were quick and efficient. I'm very happy with my new door and would definitely recommend SmartTech.

I had high hopes for this company, but ended up being a disappointment.

We purchased two exterior doors from them which were installed November 2022. After the initial payment, we received multiple calls that they couldn't get any of our choices in, so we had to settle for something else - whatever, not a big deal, it's a door.

We didn't have any issues with the door initially but as time went on, it was becoming more and more hard to shut the door. This winter we noticed there was a vertical split in the middle of the slab.

After multiple calls and emails that went unanswered, we finally got through to someone via text and an installer came out to look at it. He slapped some wood putty in split and said he would take it back to the warranty department.

After several weeks of unsuccessful contact, I opened a case with BBB as I didn't know what else to do. At this point the company responded with "the split it was self-inflicted therefore we will not replace it"

How could a split like this in a steel door be self-inflicted? So much for "lifetime warranty"

Please stay far away from this business.

EDIT/UPDATE - with another winter our door continues to get worse. It is now not sealing properly letting ice and snow in. Reached out again to the company with no response. Very disappointed to have essentially useless $2000 doors.
